What is Thermal Transfer Ribbon Printing?

Thermal Transfer Printers work exactly how the name implies! Localised heat is applied by a thermal print-head which in-turn melts the wax/resin which is embedded in the ribbon onto the print substrate (Heat Shrink, PVC, Plastic, Paper etc). This, in turn, transfers the image onto your substrate/print material!

Hilltop Products offer a wide range of thermal printers for all kinds of materials, such as printable heat shrink, PVC & Identification Markers. Both single & double sided. We also offer some great used printers, so why not take a look!

Hilltop Products tend to stock only Full Resin & Foil Transfer Ribbons as these offer a permanent print onto a wide range of substrates. With full moisture, sunlight, scratch, temperature & water resistance.
