We know that the past year has been a tough one, with multiple lockdowns and yoyo rules but now that an end is on the horizon and more businesses are getting ready to open, it’s time to rally and show our support and love to small business and communities.
We have put together some great ways to support small businesses and projects.
Take the Kids to Play
While the weather has been so off and on, an indoor play centre is an ideal adventure to tire out your tiny tots. Some handy Anti-Bacterial Wipes to keep sticky fingers and tables clean and you’re ready for hours of running, jumping and sliding (and hopefully a great night’s sleep).
Grab Dinner and a Drink
Bars and Restaurants have been hit during the lockdown, even with it easing, April showers have put a damper on the fun. Book a table ahead of time and enjoy food and drinks with friends, now improved with a roof overhead. Don’t forget the Hand Sanitiser.
Support the Arts
A trip to the cinema is a great treat, especially with friends and family. Catch up on the big blockbusters or thought-provoking, indie films and support the arts. Not in the mood for a movie? Grab a KN95 Standard Face Mask and take a trip to your local museum or art exhibit or outdoor performance.
Spend the Night
Small B&B’s or privately owned Hotels have been missing their guests. Why not turn a fun day into a great weekend? See a movie, have a fancy dinner and stay the night, breakfast included. Then you can wake up and do it all again, maybe this time with some bowling or a trip to the local park for ice cream.
Make sure you’re prepared, whatever the adventure. You can shop our great range of high-quality, ethically-priced hygiene & PPE products here - LINK
Want to show your support from the comfort of your home? There are great ways that you can show your love for the little businesses all around you!
Share Their Business Page
Word of mouth is a great way to show support. Have you used the business in the past? Think your friends will love them too? Shout about it! Just think, all of your Facebook, Instagram and Twitter friends are now potential customers.
Interact with their Socials
With the complexity of Social Media Algorithms, it’s easy for small businesses or community projects to drown in the sea of social posts but, interacting with them tells Facebook or Twitter, or your Social of choice that you and others want to keep seeing their posts, helping keep the projects and products afloat.
Leave a review
Been shopping? Visited the local park? Leave a review. This is great to help potential customers and visitors that aren’t on your friends' list. An honest review says a lot about a company and tells custom whether the business is worth it.
Hopefully, with our care and consideration, the hard times are just about over and together we can all start to enjoy a more social normal.
