Information on our Hand Held Hot Wire Cutter - 1,370mm Length

Our big, versatile wire bow cutter will get those unwieldy blocks or sheets of foam knocked down to manageable sizes.

Widely used by everyone from Sculptors to Roofers. It is ideal for cutting Styrofoam and Similar insulating materials. This bow cutter is made of Aluminium, very light to hold. Can also be used in building and packaging industry.

Hot Wire bow cutter is a light weight easy to use cutting tool for styrofoam and similar synthetic insulation materials. The 54inch (1370mm) cutting length is ideal for the building industry where you can take the bow onto the scaffolding and cut at the installation point. For companies that require customised packing the hand held bow can be used at the packing point for quick adjustments needed at the last minute. Max Cutting Length = 54 inch (1370mm), Max Cutting height = 13 inches (330mm), Weight = 12.8lbs (5.8kg), Size = 51.5"" x 16"" x 2.7"" (1380 x 405 x 70).

Note: Heated Wire expands when hot. If the spring is too tight the wire may break restricting operation of mechanism. If too loose, the cut will be sloppy. Readjustment of tension may be necessary from time to time.
