Thermo Firesleeve / Fire Protection Fiberglass Sleeving is an industrial grade, high temperature insulating sleeving constructed from thick-wall glass fibre and coated with HIGH TEMPERATURE silicone elastomer contataining an inorganic Red Oxide additive. The heavy silicone coating sheds molten metal splash to prevent heat transfer.

This Fire Sleeve will withstand continuous operating temperatures between -40°C - +250°C and can withstand repeated short-term exposure to molten steel, molten aluminium and molten glass.

Fire Protection sleeving is a very flexible sleeving designed to protect wires, cables and hoses from high ambient temperatures.

  • Wiring, cable, hoses and pipes in: Automotive, aerospace and industrial applications.

 

Technical Performance:

  • Glass fibre braid withstands temperatures up to +550°C
